Wear whatever makes you comfortable — jeans, sneakers, a t-shirt, shorts in the summer — all of it is completely normal at Eagle Creek Church. There is no dress code, and you will not be underdressed in casual clothes.
What do most people actually wear?
Most people at Eagle Creek dress casually. On any given Thursday night or Sunday morning in Lee’s Summit you’ll see jeans, sneakers, hoodies, sundresses, and work clothes from people coming straight from a shift. Some folks like to dress up a little because that’s their style — that’s welcome too. The point is simple: dress is about your comfort, not a requirement.
Will anyone judge what I’m wearing?
No. Eagle Creek’s whole approach is “come as you are,” and that includes your closet. Nobody is checking outfits at the door — the greeters are just glad you came.
What about my kids?
Same answer: comfortable play clothes are perfect. Kids in EKids (Eagle Creek’s program for birth through 5th grade) play games and do hands-on activities, so clothes they can move in are ideal.
Do people dress up for Easter or Christmas?
Some families enjoy dressing up for holiday services, and plenty of people stay casual. Both are completely at home at Eagle Creek.
