What Are Easter and Christmas Services Like at Eagle Creek Church?

Easter and Christmas services at Eagle Creek Church are built for everyone — especially people who haven’t been to church in a while or have never been at all. Expect the same welcoming, casual atmosphere as any Sunday, turned up: live worship, a hopeful message, full kids programming, and a room genuinely glad you came.

Easter at Eagle Creek celebrates the center of the Christian faith: Jesus rising from the dead. The service is about an hour, with live worship and a message of hope that makes sense whether you’ve followed Jesus for decades or you’re just curious. Come casual — jeans are normal, and so are Easter dresses. Both fit right in.

Easter service times differ from the normal weekly schedule — Eagle Creek offers several service time options so your family can pick what works, and times are announced a few months in advance.

Christmas services celebrate Jesus’ birth with familiar carols, candlelight moments, and a message for the whole family. Eagle Creek typically offers Christmas Eve services across a few days — both the day before Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve itself — with several time options to fit your family’s plans (last year there were five). Times are announced a few months in advance.

Yes — EKids is available at all Easter services (birth through 5th grade, as on Sundays). At Christmas services, EKids is available for kids ages 0–5, while older kids join their families in the service — and they love being part of it: the carols, the candlelight, the whole experience is made for families worshipping together. Kids of any age are always welcome to stay with you, and the Family Room at the back of the auditorium is there if littles need room to move.

Completely. Nobody at Eagle Creek will guilt-trip you about attendance — the team is honestly glad you’re there. Holiday services are also the easiest possible first visit: everything in “What Should I Expect on My First Visit to Eagle Creek Church?” applies, including free coffee, first-time visitor parking, and zero pressure.

Times are announced each season at eaglecreekchurch.com, on Facebook and Instagram, and in the Eagle Creek Church app. Or call (816) 246-5005 — a real person will tell you.

Whether it’s your first Easter service ever or your fiftieth Christmas Eve, we’d be honored to celebrate with you.
