How Does Giving Work at Eagle Creek Church?

Giving at Eagle Creek Church is simple and always voluntary: you can give during Sunday services, online through the Give link at eaglecreekchurch.com, or through the Eagle Creek Church app. If you’re a guest, nothing is expected of you — the offering is for people who call Eagle Creek home.

No. There are no dues, no fees, and no pressure. Giving (sometimes called tithing or an offering) is how members voluntarily support the church’s ministries — from kids programming to outreach — as an act of worship and generosity. Guests are never expected to give. Eagle Creek’s conviction, straight from its vision statement, is to help people live generously — and generosity, by definition, can’t be forced.

  • In person — during any Sunday service.
  • Online — click Give at eaglecreekchurch.com.
  • The Eagle Creek Church app — free on the App Store and Google Play.

Regular giving funds everything Eagle Creek does locally: services, EKids and EC-YTH, Community Groups, outreach, and the day-to-day ministry of the church. Financial oversight sits with the Board of Deacons — budgeting, major purchases, and staff compensation are board decisions, not one person’s (see “What Denomination Is Eagle Creek Church?” for the full leadership picture).

Kingdom Builders is Eagle Creek’s strategic missions and outreach fund — giving above regular giving, aimed at three areas:

  1. Global Missions — supporting 40+ missionaries, ministries, and organizations worldwide: clean water projects in the Central African Republic, Bible translation, church planting, recovery centers, and anti-trafficking safe homes, plus monthly support for missionary families across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
  2. Local Ministry Expansion — serving Kansas City through partners like KC Dream Center, City Union Mission, Hope House, and refugee ministry Agape Pamoja, plus Eagle Creek’s own twice-a-year Serve Our City projects at schools, homes, and ministry sites.
  3. Next Generation — camps and conference scholarships for students, Kids Kraze VBS, and campus ministries reaching college students.

Each year the church publishes a Kingdom Builders project guide listing every partner and project — you can view the current guide at eaglecreekchurch.com/kingdom-builders.
