Eagle Creek Church believes historic, Bible-based Christianity: that the Bible is God’s inspired Word, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins and physically rose from the dead, and that salvation is a free gift received by trusting in Him. Eagle Creek is non-denominational, and its mission is “empowering people to become all that God created them to be.”
Here are the core beliefs, in plain English.
The Bible is the complete, inspired Word of God and the trustworthy, infallible guide for faith and daily life. When Eagle Creek teaches, it teaches from the Bible — and messages focus on connecting what it says to real, everyday life.
There is one God, revealed in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Christians call this the Trinity. All three share the same eternal existence, divine character, complete power, knowledge, and presence.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, physically died on a cross for our sins, and rose from the dead. He lives forever at God the Father’s right hand and continually prays for us.
People were created by God but fell into sin — rebellion against God — and can’t fix that on their own. Christ’s sacrificial death paid the penalty for our sins. When we repent (turn away from sin and toward God) and believe in what Jesus did on our behalf, we receive the free gift of salvation. It can’t be earned; it’s received.
The Church isn’t a building — it’s the people who have accepted God’s offer of redemption through Jesus. Its mission is to seek and save all who are lost in sin. That’s why Eagle Creek exists: to help people far from God be filled with life in Christ.
The Holy Spirit gives believers power for holy living, sharing their faith, and spiritual gifts. Eagle Creek believes in relying daily on God’s power for healing — spiritually, emotionally, and physically — and that God’s plan is for us to cooperate with the Spirit’s work and progressively grow more like Christ.
Eagle Creek exists to help people do four things:

- What denomination is this? Eagle Creek is non-denominational. See “What Denomination Is Eagle Creek Church?” for what that means and how the church is governed.
- What about baptism? Eagle Creek practices believer’s baptism — a public step of faith after someone decides to follow Jesus. Sign-ups happen through the church’s baptism form.
- Do I have to believe all this to visit? Not at all. Eagle Creek believes church is also a place for people who are still exploring their faith. Come with your questions — they’re welcome.
