To start serving at Eagle Creek Church, fill out the short Ministry Team sign-up form or stop by Connect 15 after any Sunday service, and the team will help you find the right fit. Serving is open to everyone — no seminary degree, long membership history, or special talent required.
Ministry Teams are the volunteer teams that make every service happen. Eagle Creek’s teams include:
- Guest Services — parking team, greeters, ushers, and the hospitality crew handing out coffee and donuts. If you love making people feel welcome in the first few minutes, this is your team.
- EKids / EKids Jr — helping kids from birth through 5th grade learn to love church and Jesus through games, worship, Bible stories, and small groups.
- YTH — investing in students (grades 6–12) on Wednesday nights through games, worship, and discipleship relationships.
- Security (Safety Team) — keeping everyone safe at services and events. A natural fit if you have a background in law enforcement, military, or medicine — and wondered if there’s a place at church for that gifting. (There is.)
- Worship & Production — musicians, vocalists, and the technical crew (sound, lighting, media) creating an atmosphere where people can meet with God.
- Creative — photography, videography, social media, and design that tell the story of what God is doing at Eagle Creek.
Start with what energizes you. Love kids? EKids. People person? Guest Services. Musical or technical? Worship & Production. Protector at heart? Security. Not sure? Say so on the form or at Connect 15 — the team will help you try something on. Nothing is locked in; people move between teams as they discover their gifts.
Once you submit the Ministry Team sign-up form, a staff member will contact you within a few days. They’ll go over your next steps, take some time to get to know you, hear your heart, and share more about the ministry. One thing that’s already true for every team: volunteers who serve with kids or students pass a background check first — it’s part of how Eagle Creek keeps children safe.
Yes — students serve all over Eagle Creek, from the kids’ rooms to production. It’s one of the best ways for a teen to grow: discovering that church isn’t just something you attend, it’s something you’re part of.
Eagle Creek’s mission is “empowering people to become all that God created them to be” — and serving is usually where that discovery happens. You meet people, find your gifts, and realize the church runs on ordinary people saying “I’ll help.”
