is becoming The Avenue Church!
Beginning Easter Sunday, 2026, the Warrensburg Campus of Eagle Creek Church will become its own independent church! This exciting chapter in the life of our church will allow us to continue serving the Warrensburg and Johnson County communities. Instead of functioning as a campus of Eagle Creek, we will be our own autonomous church! We will be our own organization, with our own local leadership.
All of the things you love! Our people, style of worship, Biblical preaching, exciting family ministries, and the overall experience will be the same.
Beginning Easter Sunday, we will not be officially affiliated with Eagle Creek. There are some back-end things that we will still be transferring over throughout 2026, and we will still align with them on a few things (i.e. Kids curriculum, YTH curriculum and YTH Camp, etc.) But for all intents and purposes, no.
We have our own Board of Elders that will oversee the business of the church.
Keep checking this page, along with our new website (coming soon) theavenuewb.com. We will also be updating Instagram on a regular basis, and will be launching our own Facebook page as well.
We will be using the giving platform through Planning Center. The first step will be cancelling your giving through Overflow/Eagle Creek. Then set up your giving through The Avenue Church online or through the Church Center app.
